Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of implementing the new Customs Code. In particular, the discussion focused on the need for the timely development of implementing regulations, the development of IT infrastructure and ensuring an appropriate transition period for businesses.
For companies engaged in foreign economic activity, changes in customs legislation will have a direct impact on customs clearance, the use of customs simplifications and the organisation of international supply chains.
For us, participation in professional events of this kind provides an opportunity to monitor developments in customs legislation and the practical aspects of European integration reforms that directly affect businesses.
We thank the organisers of the Customs Platform for the substantive professional discussion and the opportunity to take part in the discussion of issues of importance to businesses.
